About

Jonil started teaching in a learn to swim program in 2013 at Bert Lozada Swimming School which is one of the biggest swimming schools in the Philippines. He taught beginners, intermediate and up to advanced swimmer of all ages. Jonil also became the assistant swim coach in Elizabeth Seton School (Main Campus) then he was promoted to head coach of Elizabeth Seton School Imus (South Branch). Afterwards Jonil got a new challenge for himself, developing swimmers from zero knowledge on swimming and transforming them as a competitive swimmers. He built a team called Santarosa Sea Otters. From 2014 he prepared swimmers for local and regional events and swim meets. He guided them to improve their speed and technique. Jonil’s aim is to inspire, motivate and educate swimmers to give their best during practice and race events.
